The rapid rise in community transmission of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is challenging for us all.
Our absolute priority is to ensure that Uniting AgeWell continues to provide safe services in your home – your health and wellbeing and that of our staff, is our primary concern.

Essential services including personal care, assistance with meal preparation, unescorted shopping assistance, escorting you to medical appointments, nursing, in-home respite and welfare checks (phone-based and visits to the home) will continue.
Below are some examples of the essential services we will continue to provide during COVID-19:
- Personal care
- Unescorted shopping assistance
- Escorted travel to essential medical appointments such as for vaccinations, radiology, pathology or transfusions
- Escorted visits for essential supplies e.g. for goods that can only be found in pharmacies
- Support with accessing on-line shopping and the delivery and packing away of shopping
- Arrangement for meals on wheels and the pick-up and delivery of meals from friends and family
- Garden maintenance with one of our quality assured gardening team members, who have been trained in no contact and social distancing requirements
- Nursing and allied health services including occupational therapy and physiotherapy
