Uniting AgeWell Kings Meadows Community is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, May 19.
Experience first hand the services and programs available to help you live well with choice and peace of mind and join in the fun from 10am to 12 noon.
The community is invited to come along and tour the Wesley Court independent living units, Uniting AgeWell's community services and adjacent aged care residence.
After touring the sites, strap on your blue suede shoes and head into the main lounge for morning tea and entertainment by fabulous Elvis Presley impersonator, Adam Page.
Adding to the spectacle, the Kings Meadows Community staff and residents will don their best Elvis gear and join in the festivities.
Everyone who attends the Open Day will be invited to contribute to the Kings Meadows knitted room, by knitting a tree branch or leaf with their name on it. The knitted room will open to the public next month, with their contributions included.
Our experienced staff will be available throughout the Open Day to provide information about aged care services and programs, as well as offering assistance with My Aged Care.
Uniting AgeWell’s Kings Meadows Community, Aldersgate and Wesley Court independent living units are located at 11/13 Normanstone Road, South Launceston.
If you are unable to attend the official Open Day or want more information about Uniting AgeWell’s services in Launceston, call Administration Officer Jane Legard on T: 6341 1400.
