Uniting AgeWell Carer Respite Services Melbourne provides a range of respite services across the eastern, southern and western metropolitan regions of Melbourne, to support the individual needs of carers and help them maintain their caring role.
- Flexible respite in the community, at home or overnight, available in the eastern, southern and western regions.
- Centre-based respite at one of our five day centres in Forest Hill, Hawthorn and Noble Park.
- Short-term residential respite care at our residential care communities.
We also offer the Music For David music therapy program, which provides respite to carers of people with dementia using digital music tailored to suit the client.
Uniting AgeWell staff provide such wonderful care and support. Information about getting a little time to myself, or advising what services are available after mum had been in hospital, made such a difference to her recovery and my stress levels. Regular support from my respite co-ordinator has helped me feel connected to someone who cares and kept be up-to-date with changes to government policies. I feel blessed to have Uniting AgeWell with me during this rewarding journey with my mother.
