Uniting AgeWell Community Hubs are designed to support your health and wellbeing as you age.

The Community Hubs offer a fully accessible health and wellbeing experience with a gym, rehabilitation space, allied health and wellness group rooms and a dedicated community and education area. Uniting AgeWell’s Support at Home teams are also located at the Community Hubs making it easier for you to connect to the information, advice and services you may need to help maintain your independence and wellbeing, such as help at home, carer respite and support or social connections programs.

Community Hub, Burwood East offers a friendly and welcoming environment for you to maintain your health and wellbeing with a variety of group and individual programs to join.

Allied health and restorative care

Restorative services can assist you to regain or maintain your strength and resilience, remain socially connected and continue living independently.

Our services include fast-stream rehabilitation and health maintenance programs, special focus groups and health promotion activities. We offer:

  • Occupational therapy, including aids and equipment
  • Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology
  • Podiatry and footcare
  • Excerise programs and rehabilitation services
  • Education sessions
  • Exercise programs and rehabilitation at our AgeWell Gym
  • Clinical exercise groups including Falls and Balance, Osteoporosis and Parkinson’s disease.

Join the AgeWell Gym

Our AgeWell Gyms combine state-of-the-art specialised seniors’ gym equipment with the support and expertise of our allied health team to provide an experience tailored to your abilities and goals.

You can find support to either achieve your fitness goals or to maintain your wellness with:

  • One-on-one strength and resilience training
  • Group exercise programs

We offer a range of membership and casual visit options to suit your lifestyle and goals. AgeWell Gym members are welcome to participate in our community classes.

Available classes include:
