Endless opportunities in nursing

Luke Pualic believes nurses and personal care workers in aged care have a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of residents.

He says nursing has opened many doors in different areas of the health industry but it is in aged care that he finds most rewarding.

“I’ve always returned to aged care because there’s an opportunity to make the biggest impact on people’s lives,” he said.

“Not only does it pushes me to extend myself professionally and personally, it is rewarding getting to know our residents and their families intimately, making a difference and developing friendships and partnership through care.”
