Our home, your home
Moving into residential aged care shouldn’t mean giving up the things in life you love. Instead, it’s a time to continue getting the most out of life - but with the support and care you need to help you do that.
At Uniting AgeWell, we assist you to restore and maintain your health and wellbeing, to remain engaged with your community and to celebrate life with others as you age.
Our 20 residential care communities across metropolitan and regional Victoria and Tasmania provide outstanding care and support in a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment. We deliver 24/7 clinical care by highly qualified, experienced staff who truly value older people, so you can have peace of mind that assistance is always available.
We also recognise everyone’s ageing journey is different and people’s needs may change. Our ageing in place model means if you require more specialised support, your care can be adapted where you are. This includes specialised dementia care or palliative support.
Savour restaurant quality meals prepared by in-house chefs, enjoy a laugh with friends over a game, take time out in landscaped gardens, visit the local sights, keep active with wellness classes or create a new masterpiece in the art group.
At a Uniting AgeWell residence you will find:
- Comfortable and spacious lounge rooms
- Warm community hubs for social gatherings
- Beautifully landscaped gardens
- Dynamic and engaging lifestyle and activities programs
- Allied health services including podiatry, physiotherapy and speech therapy
- On-site cafés
- Fresh, nutritious dining experiences
- In-house hairdressers
- On-site gyms
- Mini-marts
Sharing the Care is our support kit for families and carers new to residential care.
Designed to help family carers and the person they care for make the transition to residential care a little easier.
Our comprehensive support kit guides you through what to expect and how to cope with this significant life change, from emotional responses and personal wellbeing to settling the resident into their new home. It provides practical advice and easy access to the information and supports you might need during this time of transition.
